Depending on the workflow, this may include your name, phone number, email address, desired move-in date, expected stay length, location preference, application details, employment and income information, identification information, household or occupant information, uploaded supporting documents and other information you submit.
The general availability form is not intended for Social Security numbers, driver's-license images, pay stubs, bank information or other sensitive documents. When sensitive supporting documents are requested for an application, use the designated secure application workflow rather than ordinary email, text message or the availability form.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, confirm availability, communicate about pricing and lease options, evaluate rental applications, coordinate screening and leasing steps, maintain business records, prevent misuse or fraud, improve the website and understand how visitors use the site.
Service providers and third-party systems
Starlite Cabins uses service providers to operate parts of the website and rental process. These may include website hosting and form-processing providers, secure form/application providers, analytics providers and tenant-screening providers. Information you submit may be processed by those providers as needed to perform the service requested.
The rental application currently uses Cognito Forms. Background screening, when required, is handled separately through the screening provider identified during the application process. General website analytics use Google Analytics 4.
Website analytics and similar technologies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and interactions such as page visits and certain contact or application actions. Analytics systems may receive technical information such as browser/device information, approximate location derived from network information, referring pages and interaction data. Analytics settings and consent requirements may vary by jurisdiction.
Sharing of information
We may share information with service providers that support website hosting, form processing, communications, screening, leasing, security and analytics; with professional advisers when reasonably necessary; and when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or property. We do not post applicant documents or sensitive application information publicly.
Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business and recordkeeping needs, or as required by applicable law. Retention periods can differ depending on whether the information relates to a general inquiry, an application, a screening process or an active or former tenancy.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to reduce unauthorized access to information. No website, email system, cloud service or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send sensitive application documents through ordinary email, text message or the general availability form.
Your choices and requests
You may contact Starlite Cabins to ask a question about information you submitted through the website, request a correction where appropriate, or ask whether information can be deleted when no legal or legitimate business reason requires its retention. Applicable privacy rights may vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to exceptions.
Children's information
This website is intended for adults seeking rental housing and is not directed to children. Information about minors may be requested from an adult applicant when necessary to identify proposed occupants of a rental.
Third-party links
The website may link to mapping, application, screening or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
