TxDOT's 2025 award summary lists a $178.4 million contract to Anderson Columbia for new US-77 roadway lanes from north of SH 285 to the Kenedy/Kleberg County line. TxDOT describes the Riviera Relief Route as a multi-year future-I-69 project with freeway lanes, frontage roads, ramps and overpasses.

South Texas Direct Air Capture Hub — Kleberg County
1PointFive's South Texas DAC Hub is advancing through engineering, permitting and long-lead procurement with U.S. Department of Energy support. It is a major future workforce opportunity, but Starlite does not represent it as full-scale active construction at this stage.

A project gets a dedicated page only when current status can be verified from a reliable source and there is a reasonable worker-housing use case. Proposed projects without active construction, stale announcements and speculative developments are not treated as current housing targets.
How location fit is handled
Project locations can vary by gate, yard and phase.
Large projects can have multiple gates, yards, phases and temporary work locations. Use the published Northwest Corpus Christi and Starlite Ranch maps and verify current project-site details independently using the published location and highway information.
Temporary workforce demand beyond named projects
Some workers search by assignment type rather than project name.
Starlite also targets legitimate temporary-work patterns that can generate housing demand without requiring a dedicated employer or project page.
